Massive action in Stage 7 Kuala Rompin – Kuantan, just less than 100 meters away from the finishing line there was a crash involving Danilo Hondo and Alberto Loddo. Alexandre Usov says that he deserve the victory because he was in the right position. Aurelien Clerc was questioned about his team mate, Mathieu Sprick for losing his yellow jersey. New yellow jersey holder Mitchell Docker said that it was not easy to snatch the yellow jersey from Sprick even though it was just 1 second.
